We are the local band of bellringers at St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Tring. We ring for Sunday services, weddings, special occasions and national events — and we are always pleased to welcome new people.

Bellringing is a unique mix of music, rhythm, teamwork and tradition. It is sociable, absorbing and surprisingly challenging, but you do not need to be musical, especially strong, or a regular churchgoer to learn. If you are curious, the best thing to do is come and see what happens in the tower.

Come and see us

New ringers are very welcome, whether you have never touched a bell rope before or are returning after time away. We practise regularly and can help beginners learn safely and steadily.

Find out more in our Join us section, or contact us if you would like to ask a question or arrange a visit.

About the tower

The bells at Tring have a long and fascinating history. You can read more about the tower, bells and clock in the About section.

Weddings and special occasions

We also ring for weddings and other special services at St Peter & St Paul’s. Visit our Weddings page for more information.
